Air Liquide – 10 years in Romania

Air Liquide is present in Romania since December 1999. Ever since, more and more customers have added to the company portfolio. Air Liquide Romania is the trusted partener of important companies from the chemical, steel and glass industries, as well as of shipyards and fast moving goods. In 2005, Air Liquide Romania has signed a contract with one of the glass manufacturing industry leaders, for their flat glass producing unit in Calarasi. Consequently, Air Liquide has based there its first Air Separation Unit, producing nitrogen, oxigen and hidrogen. At the beginning of 2008, Air Liquide Romania has also started the first acetylene plant in Braila, in the frame of a partnership with one of top world shipyards.Based on the Group´s "Zero Accidents" policy, Air Liquide Romania values labour safety and developpes various preventional programmes in all its producing units.The implementation and certification ISO 22000:2005 of the Management System for Food Safety have been priorities of AIR LIQUIDE ROMANIA in 2008. These objectives have been successfully reached in June 2008. The certification audits were performed by international certified organisations.This certification proves once again the total commitment of the Air Liquide Group for quality, as well as the respect for the satisfaction of the customer, the company informs.
