Call for Papers - PV Power Plants - EU 2012
Solarpraxis invites you to submit contributions for the conference “PV Power Plants – EU 2012” taking place on March, 29th and 30th 2012 in Vienna, Austria.
Solar plants are increasingly moving into wider ranges. According to pvresources.com, PV power plants with an output of 500 kWp or more account for 9 GWp of solar power worldwide, 3,521 MWp of which were installed in 2010. Thereof Europe holds 86 % of the world´s PV power plant capacity, but other countries such as the U.S.A and China are catching up quickly.
The conference covers different aspects of PV Power Plants with an emphasis on the practical needs of market operators and industry. These are for example:
- Markets (Eastern and Southern Europe, and increasing Non-European Markets like U.S.A, China, Japan)
- Module types (CPV, crystalline PV, thin film technology)
- Standardization
- Quality assurance, Financing, Insurance
- Energy transmission
We must stress that the topics should be generally applicable in practice and of non-commercial nature. Company and product presentations will not be considered.
Milestones and Deadlines
Deadline for submission of abstracts: 8 January 2012
Notification of acceptance or refusal: By end January 2012
Submission of PowerPoint documents for the conference proceedings: 2 March 2012
Time available for the presentation: Depending on the session, the speaker will have 15-20 minutes for his talk and will be limited to 20 slides per presentation.
Language: The abstracts and the presentations should be delivered in English.
Free entrance for speakers: The authors of accepted papers will have access to the conference free of charge.
