IN-LINE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR GLASS CONTAINERS

AGR International has announced the addition of the Multi-Star to its family of glass container inspection and measurement products. The Multi-Star is a multi-functional inspection station designed to inspect and qualify glass containers for random and process-related defects and provide pertinent cavity-correlated data for process performance management. The Multi-Star system, according to AGR, is designed to serve as an in-line inspection platform that can host a variety of critical inspection operations with minimal consumption of line space. This system inspects bottles for checks in the finish, sidewall or base, as well as finish tolerance variations and leaks due to flaws in the seal surface.
